13th Annual Dawg Walk & Pet Faire

13th Annual Dawg walk and Pet faire was held in South Orange County and was dedicated to the Animal welfare group and Mission Viejo Animal Services. The fantastic event was from 7-12pm and started with a Dawg walk to start this beautiful Southern California morning off followed by an opening ceremony from the Orange County Sheriffs Department, an agility and fly ball demonstration, a pet contest featuring the best K9 kisser, owner/bowzer look a like, and the best K9 trickster.

Immediately following the dog contest there was the Disc dogs in Southern California performance and the announcement of the Dawg walk pledge winners which Orange County K9â„¢ sponsored with a Universal Pet Comfort Sleeperâ„¢ BIG DOG- RX memory foamâ„¢ pet bed. This was a successful event also had several participating dog rescues and non profit groups which included Adopt A Saint, Boxer Rescue Los Angeles, Canine Companions for Independence, Chihuahua Haven Rescue, Critter Crossings Corp., Doggie Protective Services, Fetching Companions, German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County, Love 4 Canines, Modjeska Ranch Rescue, Needle Nose Crew, New Beginnings for Animals, Opossum Society of the United States, Orange County Bird of Prey Center, Pet Partners of Orange County/Delta Society, South County Animal Shelter Coalition, VIP3 Guide Dog Puppy Raisers for Guide Dogs for the Blind, Wonders of Wildlife, Inc., Zara's List. Over 3,000 pet lovers from all over Southern California came to support this annual cause and many pets were adopted. Orange County K9â„¢ was proud to be apart of such a pet worthy event.
